00individual was among those blessed to be born into this existence during the most concentrated Cultural events of the late ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. To have been able to experience the slow innocent build of the ’50s as a single-digit Rocker, and of the real-time experience in his teens in the ’60s, and twenties in the ’70s, is an exceptional gift, especially for those who appreciated it then, as now.
September was the end of the Summer Of Love, but for many the Vibe continued to varying degrees up into the early-to-mid ’70s.

So 20 to 28 years of continuous airplay, thus far.

Movies
This month is dedicated to Arthur Penn – an American director and producer of film, television and theater. Penn directed critically acclaimed films throughout the 1960s such as the drama The Chase (1966), the biographical crime film Bonnie and Clyde (1967) and the comedy based on this month’s Arlo Guthrie album release, Alice’s Restaurant (1969). He also got attention for his revisionist Western Little Big Man (1970). But it was Bonnie and Clyde that made cinematic history worldwide zeroing in on the reality just below the surface of the cultural zeitgeist. Things were not right, and in some cases the accused were innocents caught in the undertow of the moment during uncertain times.
Bonnie and Clyde went US #1 on August 13, 1967 then reclaimed #1 in its fourth weekend of release, and stayed #1 for the weeks September 3, September 10, September 17, and September 24, 1967 – Bonnie and Clyde owned the Movie Box Office for the full month of September 1967 – and ended the Summer Of Love with a BANG!

Back on the rails at the end of the Summer of Love The Psychedelic Train takes a Time Travel Psyde-Trip to late 1800’s London Victorian Steampunk era and then teleports into the late 1800’s American Wild West era, and while still in Steampunk Locomotive mode, emerges right in the middle of a train robbery!
