EXPERIENCE COUNTER CULTURE ROCK HISTORY!
The 1960s – and the 1970s – exploded with what seemed like radical ideas and behavior to those entranced by unquestioned traditions and values.
The awareness of a generation to the injustice of a corrupt and bigoted patriarchal society created timely revolutionary concepts by the “Youth Movement” to combat this evil.
At 78 million strong, our voices and actions were heard and the individuality we expressed ignited the historic polarization between generations.
The clampdown of the “Old Guard” was crumbling under the unrelenting protest and the inspiring televised mantra,”The Whole World Is Watching”. Soon, The Whole World Was Participating and civil rights, injustice and discrimination through student protests and the endorsement of public opinion led to the same for the War in Viet Nam.
Eventually, all of these negatives were seen as an embarrassment along with the shame of the unnecessary loss of dozens of thousands of young mens’ lives.
These Protest Songs provided a powerful inertia that inspired a Rock-solid force of unity for the Counter Culture’s rebellion against insanity and helped extinguish those deadly, ignorant, bigoted, manipulative and mindless traditional ways along with the “men” who benefited from them.

00individual has known for far too long and is aware that the answer to the question;
War , what is it good for? Is Plenty, actually, for the Masters of War.
There’s a list a mile long, but at the top are the obvious:
political and global “power”, untold riches for the Masters of War, carte blanche in foreign affairs, billions to be made in the military technological biological industrial complex, economic control, citizen control and the ways and means to carry out more controlling interests in other countries with other installed/crony/bought despots involving Machiavellian plots of stealing natural resources and executing ethnic cleansing/genocide/population control, or at the very least using innocent humans en masse for horrific science testing/experiments – all the while under the global guise of concern done with token efforts.
That’s what it’s good for, unfortunately, and that’s just for starters.
With the planet a capitalistic venture, no one wants WWIII devastation, that’s not good for business
which is why we will continue to see the creation of localized “Wars”; an evolved solution
to perpetuate the biggest business on the planet.
. . . and it will continue to be, until, . . .
. . . and at about the time they run out of believable enemy states and cyber-terrorists, we’ll witness the perfection of a 3D holographic or nuts and bolts Dreamland technology-staged “alien invasion threat” which will tighten the final screw of control, the final nail in the coffin of individuality on the planet – a threat that is perfect, and will last, forever – as ‘their’ wish will be our unquestioned command as we Big Bro’gitize our way into the final stages of complete New World Order.
But until that fun day, here are three very profound and exacting quotes:
A state of war only serves as an excuse for domestic tyranny.
– Alexander Solzhenitsyn
The master class has always declared the wars; the subject class has always fought the battles.
The master class has had all to gain and nothing to lose, while the subject class has nothing to gain and all to lose – especially their lives.
– Eugene Victor Debs
. . . and for those of you who drank the 911 Kool-Aid;
here’s a strong awakening antidote:
But after all, it’s the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it’s a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.”
– Nazi leader Herman Göring at the Nuremberg trials
Sound familiar? You bet it does.
